about
This class will teach you how to work within the basic principles of storytelling and find your unique voice in the work. Just like any other goal we want to achieve, it all comes down to a daily discipline, showing up to do the work, plain and simple, writers write. Your writing becomes more manageable when you work within a proven structure and set of principles which produce results.
In the workshop I will walk you through my step by step methods that create the daily discipline and structure needed to get you started and help you get that first draft finished. We never want to hand our story or idea over to a ghost writer, or some hired studio staff writer. Unfinished work will only lead to tampering. None of us want that.

I have published six books, both independently and with Harper Collins. Currently I am working on my seventh publication due out in 2025. I have years of experience writing in many genres; fiction/non-fiction, memoir, short film, feature film, and TV pilots. In fact, a pilot I wrote in 2018 about a NYC detective landed me a top Hollywood agent (Howie Tanenbaum ICM/CAA) to represent the work. I also have coached many clients with their own writing projects and I am eager to help you get your story told as well.

“True character is revealed in the choices a human being makes under pressure - the greater the pressure, the deeper the revelation, the truer the choice to the character's essential nature.”
